This is the rare of the rare at its finest in 1993 Porsche introduced the GTS version of the 928. The GTS series had a larger displaced motor with 5.4 liters and 350 hp, the clutch was upgraded, the manual transmission was upgraded with a front mount oil cooler. The side mirrors were updated with and larger rear fender flares were added with the 17 cup wheels. The front brakes were increased to 322mm in diameter and the Brembo brakes were also upgraded. Only 100 928 GTS were made in 1993 and less than half were manuals. This car was ordered in the Slate Grey Metallic paint with the dark grey leather interior. This is a one owner California 928 Porsche GTS 5 speed. This car was purchased by a personal friend new at Steve Taub Porshce on 6/27/1994 and has been in his garage since two days ago when he traded it in. This is the cleanest 928 I have ever come across. It is a true no story one owner with all the records, books, tools, air compressor, floormats, everything is here. This car has no dings, dents, scratches, scuffs or any damage of any kind. The interior is just as nice with no scuffs on the leather, the carpets have no stains. This car looks like it has 5,000 miles. None of the wheels have any curb rash, the tires are a matching set of Bridgestone Potenzas the windshield has no cracks or chips. It was optioned from the factory with dual 8 way power seats with dual lumbar and drivers heated seat with memory, 6 disc cd changer, dark burlwood package (door panels, shiftknob, brakelever) and the 17 cup wheels. The car is %100 original with nothing aftermarkett added at all. The car comes with all of the service history, the service book is stamped at 11750, 23187, 32672 all done at Steve Taub Porsche in Santa Monica, CA where the car was sold new the 60k service was done and the reciept is in the car done. The last service was done at 68054 at Porsche of Downtown Los Angeles, at that time the oil was changed, the manual shifter bushing was replaced, new wiper blades were added adn the drivers side window switch was replaced. The second to last service was done at 67080 at Steve Taub on 9/2004 at a cost of 2956.60 at that time they serviced the ac, replaced the fuel pump and removed the clutch linkage and cleaned and lubricated it. The front two tires were replaced at this time as well (rears are pretty low). This car comes with a stack of reciepts the whole way up so I am only describing the last two, this 928 was unbelivably maintained and always serviced at only franchized Porsche dealerships. I could write about this car all night long the bottom line is that this a real car and a rare find, if you are looking for a 928 GTS with a 5 speed that is a one owner California car with all the history in great condition this is your car.
